India Approves ₹2,814 Crore Support Scheme for Critical Mineral Processing

On 4 November, the Union Cabinet approved a ₹2,814 crore capital-expenditure support scheme to promote domestic processing of critical minerals, particularly lithium and nickel. The initiative aims to strengthen India's mineral supply chain and local processing capacity. HPC can support industrial feasibility studies, supplier research, procurement planning and investment assessments.
